I was born and raised in Munich, Germany. After completing my studies in tourism in Munich, I worked in several travel agencies and incentive houses. After a holiday in South Africa, I fell in love with the country and decided to move here. I love Africa and showing my clients what the continent has to offer is what makes me happy. You deal with different people from various walks of life all the time, and I like the interaction with all of them. I also enjoy learning about new products and destinations, so I am constantly on the move.
I started in the hotel industry in 1986 in Johannesburg before re-locating to Cape Town, where I continued in the hotel industry before moving into Incentive Travel in 1997. I love Southern Africa for the tapestry of stories, incredible people, tastes, colours and our beloved wildlife. Southern Africa touches people’s hearts in a special way. We have so many positive things to be grateful for and so many possibilities. Spending time in Langa or Khayelitsha is my favourite place to be as I feel so alive. I love the strong sense of community, the amazing people with big hearts, the positivity, creativity, natural talent for song and dance, compassion, resilience, and above all the amazing sense of humour.

Being involved in the Tourism Industry for many years has given me the chance to travel to amazing places all around the globe, where I have experienced nature and culture in an intense and authentic way. Southern Africa really touched my heart and I have never left a place filled with such emotion. The passion in every fibre, the way everybody makes their contribution and how things fall into place and come together, is just magnificent. “A world in one country” - and that’s exactly it - so diverse and sparkling, so different and so united. I am glad to call this beautiful country my home and to have the chance to bring an amazing Southern Africa experience to all our visitors.
