Climate
May–Aug Dry: this is the dry season. You will find wildlife concentrations around waterholes and generally fine weather. July and August are the most popular months and availability is limited, so booking in advance is essential.
Sep–Oct: Extremely hot temperatures can be expected, but wildlife watching is at its best as the animals come out in search of water.
Dec–Apr: This is the rainy season. Many of the tracks can be impassable, but tourist numbers are fewer and rates are lower.
